Online Program 

 During 2020 Hawthorn Community House developed some fabulous online programs. Due to their success, we will be continuing to offer some of our more popular online activities. When you enrol and pay you will be sent a letter containing the link you will need to log on each week.

Strength & Balance 

A mix of chair-based and standing low-intensity, resistance and light weight-bearing exercises to maintain bone density, muscle strength and general health and wellbeing. Suitable for 65+. Delivered using MS Teams.

Short Story Book Club 

A fortnightly group for people to meet and discuss short stories, discover new authors and share a love of reading and exploring literature. Delivered using Telelink.

Stretch, Roll and   Release

Bring your stiff and sore bodies and join KB in this 75-minute program focussing on slow stretching and releasing muscle tension. Delivered using MS Teams.

Simply Delicious Cooking 

Embark on a virtual culinary journey in the comfort of your own home. In this hands-on class with cooking host, Fathima, you will learn how to prepare healthy meals using simple ingredients. You will receive a shopping list ahead of the class to help you plan your purchase, as well as the recipes and any equipment you may need.
